Like all truly advanced technology, these solutions to social problems will involve a lot of math, but must not require users to have special knowledge or skills. Programmers are invited to help with the development of open source libraries for applied social mathematics.

Loosely, a Social Technology is a product of the academic discipline Social Technology, which teaches both the new generation of social technologists (teachers and researchers) but also social technicians, who do the actual work. Similarly a physician is taught by both physiologists
